ABOUT

The primary author and illustrator of Silly Brain Books, Paul Albert (pictured above with his three children), writes books with the goal that they help promote compassion, understanding and acceptance within our society.  Paul has always known that he wanted to help make the world a better place, and writing children's books is just one of the ways he is trying to do so.  We hope that the mission of Silly Brain Books will attract more authors with similar goals to help create a better world for our children.

Why Silly Brain Books?

We realized there are many stories to be told, and that we wanted them to all be part of the same brand.  But what should we name it?  Our son, Mason, is the reason behind the name.  When Mason would get confused or misunderstand something, he went through a phase when his response would be "silly brain of mine!" paired with a big smile.  The name stuck and the rest is history.

The Mission of Silly Brain Books

Our mission is to empower children through literature by creating inclusive, uplifting stories that promote equality, acceptance, self-pride, unity, and understanding.  We believe that every child deserves to see themselves reflected in the pages of a book to learn about the diversity of the world around them.  Our books will provide a positive and educational experience for young readers, inspiring them to be kind, compassionate, and empathetic individuals.
